Mathery Studio has designed a clever wearable art tool to help children take their creative drawing skills to the next level. The Pastello crayon helmet allows children to use their heads as a drawing tool rather than a conventional crayon stick.
The Pastello crayon helmet gets its name from the Italian word for pastel. The name fits well with this crayon helmet that embodies the same fluid art techniques as pastel drawing. The Pastello helmet works by incorporating three circular crayon balls into a white helmet. The wearer is encouraged to put the Pastello helmet on and lean their head against a wall surface—one that is hopefully intended to be drawn on—and used controlled motions to sketch and draw. Kids and adults alike can enjoy embracing their other senses to create works of art.
