There are vending machines for everything from cupcakes to fresh pizzas and Stellina Pizzeria is introducing a pasta vending machine in Virginia. The vending machine is being introduced even before the restaurant is officially open for business and it promises to help the business at a difficult time when there are restrictions on indoor dining and regular retail settings.
The custom-made vending machine is situated outside the new Stellina Pizzeria location, which officially opens its doors on February 12th. By using the vending machine, pasta lovers will be able to get bags of pasta noodles, jars of sauce and even dessert to round out a meal.
Co-owner Antonio Matarazzo told Food & Wine: "While vending machines in the States stock the basic snacks and soda, you can get wine, sandwiches, and all kinds of other stuff in machines across Europe and Japan. There's definitely room for vending machines to grow in popularity here."
