Shapes in space inspired the design of this party tableware collection. Designed by Stephen Chiu and Leo Chiu of Chi and Chi Studio, the Gathering series of party ware is available from Saniyo. The dishes consist of plates, cups and containers that take after phenomena in astronomy such as asterism, eclipses and Earth's revolution.
The party tableware has flat and curved plates as well as a wide variety of cups. In addition to regular drinking glasses, there are saucer-including sets for consuming different kinds of coffee like cappuccino, espresso and lattes. There is also no shortage of nested condiment sets, from five ovals to four rounds. The Gather party ware also extends to geometric star-exhibiting coasters.
