The conceptual 'Parking Parc' is a reimagined rendering of the humble garage that would transform it into a multifunctional structure within the urban space. The garage is characterized by its ability to perfectly hold an SUV within, but also makes use of the upper exterior area by transforming it into a hillside park. This would provide a small space in congested urban areas for children and families alike to gather, while also featuring solar panels to capture power to charge the electric vehicle parked inside the main structure.
The conceptual 'Parking Parc' has been designed by Tiam Maeiyat for the New Garage Design Challenge from Volvo Cars Canada and the Interior Design Show Toronto in honor of the recently debuted XC40 Recharge.
