Eco-Conscious Cuisine Counters

The Paperstone Kitchen is Made Out of Recycled Paper

I find the PaperStone Kitchen very intriguing. An eco-friendly alternative to traditional materials used in the kitchen, this counter was created using new material made from recycled paper. You, as with me, would never have guessed that this 'stone' was actually formerly paper.

Designed by Alessio Bassan for Key, the PaperStone Kitchen will certainly revolutionize this industry in a very promising way. Essentially, the recycled paper fiber is blended with non-petroleum-based resins for a streamlined look. The modular surface features four different shades that are arranged in a stunning checkered pattern, which lends a unique look to one's kitchen. The sunken taps and board provides extra preparation space while recessed grip handles make opening the doors easier without interrupting the smooth, clean aesthetic design.
