Users on the Pandora app will now have the ability to share music or a podcast to their Instagram story. Using the Pandora app people select the 'Share' button, then select the 'Instagram Stories' button to post music as their Instagram story. When users share music to a story it will be presented along with cover art for the music, the cover art can also be customized with different stickers. Pandora users can also send music a message to a friend or a group chat instead of posting it as a story.
Pandora's announcement comes after other music streaming services having done similar things. However, the addition of customizable cover art offers a unique experience that is exclusive to Pandora. Adding music stories will make music streaming a more social experience.
