The Palm Pistol is a single-shot, thumb-operated pistol designed for use by senior citizens and those with limited hand strength. The weapon needs only 9 to 10 pounds of pressure to fire a .38 caliber slug into an unsuspecting attacker.
The Palm Pistol is designed to be used as a last resort for someone in a life-threatening situation. The pistol can be used in either hand and has room for nifty attachments like an optional laser sight. This useful defense weapon has come a long way since first gracing the pages of Trend Hunter more than three years ago. At the time, it was only a concept still undergoing testing, but now it is ready for action with production set to begin in late 2011.
