Scotland-based retail label Hanon works in collaboration with Italian sneaker label Diadora on the upcoming Pallone d’Oro sneakers in celebration of Diadora's 70th anniversary. The sneakers are accompanied by an anorak that boasts co-branding accents from both Hanon and Diadora. The overarching theme that the footwear model takes on highlights soccer and the name draws influence from the "Ballon d'Or" award. The new sneakers honor athletes who wore Diadora boots during the 80s and 90s when receiving the aforementioned award.
To celebrate the specific occasions, the Pallone d’Oro sneakers are constructed from the same materials as the original boots from the era. It fuses premium suede materials and Kangaroo leather in black, which all rests atop of a soccer outsole made for indoor environments. The anorak is entitled 'Aberdeen' and it is inspired by the dedicated fans from the 80s, with details including 3M drawstrings, kangaroo pockets, half-zip enclosures and bright hits of red. The pack is set to drop online at Hanon on December 1st.
