Italian motor vehicle manufacturer Piaggio has teamed up with fashion designer Feng Chen Wang to create a limited-edition version of the Piaggio 1 electric scooter. The new scooter maintains the original's light and practical build while elevating its design with a chic, modern-day aesthetic.
According to Wang, the new scooter design draws inspiration from her hometown of Fujan, China, and, therefore, leverages traditional Chinese art elements. For example, the scooter borrows its emerald hues from China's natural landscapes and utilizes a hand-painted watercolor Chinese brushstroke technique. In addition, the new scooter comes with matching unisex apparel including a sleek Feng-designed scooter helmet.
For those interested, the Feng Chen Wang Piaggio 1 is now available to purchase at all physical Piaggio dealershipers.
