At CES 2019, Beyerdynamic debuts its latest over-ear headphone design that embraces personalization and superior noise canceling properties. The audio innovation features a slick silhouette, combined with some aesthetically enhancing elements -- an example would be the LED rings that also signifies the remaining battery of Beyerdynamic's 'Lagoon' model.
The customization aspect of the over-ear headphone designs actually relies on the Mosayc personalization app which was developed in collaboration with Mimi Defined and was first introduced to consumers in 2017. The mobile application creates listening profiles for users based on their hearing tendencies. This information is later used to optimize "certain parts of the EQ" to deliver superior audio experiences generated through absolutely unique, personal qualities. In addition, the elegant and subtle design of the Beyerdynamic Lagoon is supplemented through a touch-sensitive surface for volume and playback control.
