The adidas 'Our Body. Our Swim' ad is a female-empowering campaign that celebrates body positivity and the beauty of individuality. The ad stays true to adidas' inclusive brand philosophy and its belief that no two bodies are alike and that no two ways of swimming are either.
The commercial stars five inspiring women -- Jada Sezer, Maya Jama, Chessie King, Nadya Okamoto and Yudienys Romay -- known as actors, media presenters, models, authors and activists. The women are captured both in and outside of the water while wearing pieces from the high performance and chic adidas SH3ro Swim Collection.
With this campaign, adidas asks viewers to consider "who decides what a normal body looks, who defines what fit means and who has a say in the way you look" and describes the finished product as a "real, raw, in your face film that explores their relationship with the subjects' bodies and the water" along with "their capacity to find strength in their own vulnerabilities."
