Origami-Inspired Luggage

The Orishiki Suitcase Folds Flat for Easy Storage

Although the Orishiki Suitcase was inspired by the Japanese paper-folding art form known as origami, I can't help but see a giant piece of black quartz. Whatever it may resemble, this piece of luggage is super-convenient for the avid traveler.

Designed by Naoki Kawamoto, the Orishiki Suitcase's triangular exterior allows it to fold down flat for easy storage. Although it may look like paper, it actually boasts a hard, shell-like surface that protects its cargo. Kawamoto also created a similar handbag for everyday use.
