The Orient Express 'Silenseas' is being launched as an ultra-modern vessel that that showcases some of the latest technologies paired with old-world charm.
The ship is thoughtfully designed throughout with top-shelf amenities and gets its inspiration from the Golden Age of travel on the French Riviera. The vessel is powered by a 1,500-square-meter wind propulsion system that provides additional power to the hybrid motor system within that is run on liquified gas. This system was developed by Chantiers de l’Atlantique who the brand partnered with for the vessel.
The Orient Express 'Silenseas' is expected to be further unveiled in the near-future with a sailing date tentatively set for 2026. The vessel could help to make efficient aquatic expeditions more of a reality.
