The iconic Orient Express train makes its way back as it prepares for its grand opening in 2025. Now, it showcases a new look at the upcoming modern updates of the train as a preview was showcased during a virtual reality exhibition during Paris Art Week entitled the Orient Express Revelation.
Currently, Accor Group holds a 50% stake in the Orient Express franchise, and French architect Maxime d’Angeac was the mind behind the new design. It highlights art deco with elements of modern art to welcome today's passengers. The artful look can be seen detailing the many cabins with bold colors of green and purple. Additional elements include the domed skylight over the Bar Car with a glass bar counter to celebrate classic glasswork and the Dining car with lamp shades brightening the space.
