'Silk & Snow' Launched New Handwoven Organic Weighted Blanket

While weighted blankets have gained popularity in the last few years, there has yet to be a push for true organic weighted blankets. 'Silk & Snow' has tackled this task by releasing a handwoven weighted blanket made out of 100% cotton, making it far more sustainable than traditional weighted blankets. Standard weighted blankets use synthetic covers filled with small beads, which involve a large number of unsustainable materials.

The Silk & Snow weighted blanket is available in 8lbs, 15lbs, 20lbs, and 25lbs weights, and has nine color options such as gray, blue, brown, and pink. Additionally, the 100% cotton build of the blanket allows them to breathe through the holes, so consumers will not get too hot or sweaty. The smallest 8lb blanket has a convenient travel pouch, and all sizes of the blanket are machine washable on cold water.
