The OrCam Hear Was Revealed at CES 2020 and Will Launch This Year

At CES 2020, OrCam revealed a new hearing device named the 'OrCam Hear.' OrCam has a track record of creating accessibility-focused tech products. Typically the company implements AI and machine learning to develop products that can assist individuals with vision or hearing impairments.

The OrCam Hear is able to isolate a single voice from a loud environment and send isolated audio to a person's Bluetooth hearing aids. OrCam's hearing device determines which sounds need to be isolated by interpreting lip-readings and body gestures. The system is even able to automatically switch when the user wants to listen to another person. Additionally, the OrCam Hear operates entirely offline, in order to quell any privacy-related concerns that consumers may have.

OrCam's new hearing device is scheduled to be released in 2020, however, no date or price point has been announced.
