Any inhabitant of a large city knows that no one form of transportation is truly better than another. Each has its own advantages and frustration. In an attempt to introduce an effective solution to commuter circulation, the subcompact OPTI Driverless Taxi was developed by designer Paul Piliste.
Several aspects make this automated automobile so attractive, and the first is its compact size. Four seated adults can comfortably fit within the lightweight concept car, and the absence of a dashboard gives occupants added space. No steering wheel is necessary because the OPTI Driverless Taxi does exactly as its name suggests, it drives itself. The passenger can pay for his journey by credit card, input his destination, and the intelligent pod-like vehicle can navigate safely there.
