Located at Rodney’s Oyster House laneway in Toronto, the Ontario Oyster Festival invites attendees to indulge in a lively atmosphere featuring a variety of activities. Highlights include the shucking of 14,000 oysters, cracking 400 lobsters, and pouring 4,000 pints of beer from renowned breweries like Amsterdam and Steamwhistle. Live performances by bands such as Horshack The Band add to the festive ambiance.
A major draw is the Ontario Oyster Shucking Championship — Oyster Mania, where top shuckers compete for provincial glory and a chance to represent Ontario nationally. Tickets, priced at $40 in advance and $55 at the door, include two drink tickets and one food item ticket.
