The Isle of Man 'One Small Step' stamps have been unveiled by the post office as a commemorative collection of designs that mark the anniversary of the iconic event. The stamps were created by London-based design agency Glazier Design in collaboration with former director of NASA's Johnson Space Center George Abbey, the NASA administration and former astronauts. All of the stamps within the collection feature crisp imagery from the events that took place to pay homage to everyone involved.
Ben Glazier of Glazier Design spoke on the new Isle of Man 'One Small Step' stamps saying, "I was born during the Apollo 11 mission, so the moon landing has been with me all my life. To create a set of stamps to mark such an important event for humanity has a deep personal meaning for me. As humanity moves out into space with planned missions returning to the Moon and then on to Mars, we are honoured to play a small part in this great human expansion."
