The 'Omi' Wearable Works with the User's Smartphone

The Omi artificial intelligence (AI) wearable has been shown off at CES 2025 as a tool for consumers to incorporate into their routine as a way to optimize a range of activities.

The wearable is engineered to be worn on the temple, affixed using medical tape, or around the neck like a necklace where it will go to work interpreting your surroundings or scenario. The device can then provide contextually appropriate information on the user’s smartphone as a complementary functionality to the essential mobile device.

The Omi wearable is built with an open source platform that will enable developers to create their own apps or use the AI model of their choosing. The device is available now in a developer version for around $70 with a consumer version expected to be available in Q2 of 2025 for $89.
