The Olympics Opening Ceremony is usually a sight to behold, except when you have an opening ceremony fail. That’s right folks, last night on the biggest stage in the world, the Olympics went for the win and instead got the fail.
The 2010 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony was supposed to conclude with four Canadian legends lighting four pillars. Catriona LeMay Doan, Steve Nash, Nancy Greene, and Wayne Gretzky were the four torch bearers. Everyone’s pillar went up, except for LeMay Doan’s. Opening ceremony fail!
Hopefully the rest of the Winter Olympics goes smooth. We’ve already had one death and an opening ceremony fail, so it can’t get much worse than that right?
