French architecture studio Dream completes the Paris 2024 Olympic Games office that will be taking place later this summer. Nestled in Paris, the building is defined by its terracotta tile cladding which is meant to bring forth the history of the industrial site located right in the Saint-Ouen district. It is rested in one of the there Olympic villages and has a mass-timber build.
Founder of the studio Dimitri Roussel speaks to Dezeen, stating "The main idea behind the building is to imagine the office building of the future, with a particular focus on mixed-use programming and, in this case, the integration of a sports area of over 1,200-metre-square on the roof. [The office] will occupy a central position within the Olympic village and then, during the 'legacy phase', it will house companies."
