Ology Has Three Products That Speak to the Realities of Mortality

Ology was launched on Kickstarter as a three-part project, with each piece dedicated to exploring the theme of death, the innate human fear of it, and how people can make the most out of the short time they have on the world.

Ology is separated into tiers on the crowdfunding site, with the first being a tangible pin that's meant to remind wearers how quickly life can go by, a minimalist life calendar that includes 100 dots to symbolize 100 years of life (a number Ology stresses few will reach), and the Vita Pendant. The pendant features eight dots that also symbolize the passing of days, along with an inscription on the perimeter that reads "Life is finite - Start Now" in Old Latin.

With the funds raised from the products, Ology promises to reinvest the money into online community projects that help participants find their version of a meaningful existence and strive towards it.
