Brooklyn artist Wes Lang has teamed with Vans to create the Wes Lang x Vans OG Sk8-Hi model. These graphically pleasing sneakers were created just ahead of Vans' 50th birthday.
Wes Lang is famed for his contemporary hand-drawn style which he used to decorate the popular OG Sk8-Hi silhouette. Lang added an array of colors ranging from black to yellow to refashion the canvas upper of the iconic sneaker. The shoes feature images as well as text with graphics such as a dapper skeleton in a top hat as well as lightening bolts. The canvas upper sits atop a clean white midsole and outersole which match the all white laces and eyelets.
The finished product is a remixed OG Sk8-Hi sneaker that is stylish as well as artistic.
