As far as watch redesigns go, the Off-Axis Watch may be the most intelligent one yet. This watch from designer Eric Janssen is designed to let you tell time just by extending your arm.
Normal watches make you extend your arm out and in at a 90 degree angle to accurately see what time it is. Normally this isn't such a bother, but if you're trying to covertly check the time during a social situation it can be a pain. The Off-Axis Watch is slanted and divided up into four grids that makes telling time easier and more natural feeling.
