Makepeace Tapped Foris to Design the Obelisk 3

Makepeace wanted to elevate its woodworking talents and does so through a collaborative project alongside Foris to form the Obelisk 3. This is a dark wooden obelisk that is concealing a cabinet at the interior with a dark blackened oak at the exterior.

This forms a bold and modern aesthetic and inside the light-rippled sycamore wood forms a visual and textural contrast. All of the materials decorate the design for a juxtaposing look and the top shelf is comprised of a custom mirror that can actually be pulled out and angled to be used to the user's desire. Underneath is a pad in a deep purple color which offers a cushioned area for accessories and six drawers to follow
