If, for some reason, you've ever dreamed of having a cocktail in an elevator, you might want to consider book a cruise on the world's largest cruise liner, the Oasis of the Seas.
Cruisers can enjoy a drink with Captain Morgan in the The Rising Tide bar which, unfortunately, only maneuvers between three of the 16 decks on the luxury liner.
Getting drunk while going from floor to opulent floor isn't the only awe-evoking amenity aboard the $1.07 billion, 1,180 ft-long ship, being built by the Royal Caribbean line. When the liner sets sail, passengers will be able to enjoy an onboard, climate-controlled "Central Park" that will be over 100 metres long. In addition to a casino and phenomenal dining, there will be a skating rink, a carousel, climbing walls and a surf simulator.
Affluent guests can then sleep off their hangovers in their two-level loft-style apartments, then sip on coffee while they watch the LCD TV on their extended balconies, or plunk away on their in-suite Baby Grand piano before hitting the jacuzzi.
After its December 12, 2009 launch, The Oasis of the Seas will sail 19 consecutive 7-night Eastern Caribbean cruises, then switch to the Western Caribbean as of May 1, 2010.
