Eggy Perfume Bottles

Nymphe Fragrance Packaging Has a Natural Shape to Reference an Organic Scent

Ginkgo B's concept for Nymphe fragrance packaging was developed to contain a hypothetical cologne that emits a natural aroma. In order to communicate hints of fresh outdoor air, the designer infused the product's wrapper with references to insets, earthy textures and the vessel of new life.

Egg packaging elegantly emulates the shape of the oval shell that houses the embryo of a bird or a reptile. It's been given an exaggerated tip for aesthetic drama and a glossy and translucent finish to conceal the pump mechanism inside. Some pattern was also added to Nymphe fragrance packaging in the form of irregular white lines that copy the cracking formations of a hatching egg. Behind the dragonfly logo, the specific type of scent inside of the bottle remains a mystery until you pop it open.
