Nuvoco Vistas Corp. Ltd. has unveiled its groundbreaking product, Ecodure Thermal Insulated Concrete, coinciding with World Environment Day. Ecodure Thermal Insulated Concrete is formulated with specialized aggregates with lower thermal conductivity than conventional concrete, making it highly effective in reducing indoor temperatures by up to 3°C.
One of the key advantages of Ecodure is its ability to decrease the cooling load and Energy Use Intensity (EUI) in buildings. This translates into tangible benefits such as a 5% reduction in building EUI, a 6% decrease in space cooling load, and a 7% reduction in cooling capacity requirement. Furthermore, its reduced density results in a lighter building load, potentially lowering construction costs while maintaining structural integrity.
