Swedish Ninja is a design studio by Maria Gustavsson based in Malmo and its latest launch are a series of notebook-inspired furniture pieces. There are two pieces in total -- a cabinet and a bench. Both pieces blend metal base foundations with cork decorated with colorful fleck pieces to lighten up the entire pieces. The Notebook Cabinet and the Notebook Bench will play a role at the Swedish Design Pavillion at the London Design Fair later this year in September.
The Notebook Cabinet is designed for storage whilst still placing a spotlight on photos, clippings, and inspirations on the exterior, much like a notebook. The dual doors are adorned in cork with the aforementioned colorful bits to evoke a playful design. The Notebook Bench sits on a similar metal foundation with a rounded speckled cork as the seat.
