80% Recycled Phones

The Eco Nokia 5 Year Phone by James Barber

Nokia’s determination to push the green technology has encouraged many interesting ideas, such as the recent Coca-Cola fueled phone by the Chinese designer Zheng Daizi. Now, a British designer James Barber has also created an eco-friendly phone called the Nokia 5 Year Phone.

The Nokia 5 Year Phone is exactly as green as its color because over 80 percent of its materials are recycled. Fixed with only one screw, it can only be used for a maximum of five years, during which the energy it consumes is almost three times less than a regular phone uses.
