This new No Frills grocery store has been opened by Loblaw brand in Toronto to provide local residents with a discount shopping experience that's centrally located right in the downtown area.
The location is positioned as being less than half the size of the brand's other locations, which is stocked with conventional grocery items, produce and meat. The location also features hot foods, rotisserie chicken and a fresh bakery to support customers looking for a convenient, cost-conscious meal option.
President of Hard Discount, Loblaw Cos. Ltd. Melanie Singh spoke on the new No Frills grocery store saying, "While smaller in size, the shopping experience will be comparable to the large format store – we design each new location with a full grocery shop in mind, according to the customers who shop there, stocking the brands and products they want most at the prices they have come to expect from No Frills."
