Beginning the summer of 2010, ECOtality will begin installing over 11,000 charging stations in eleven cities across five test states. 4,700 all-electric Leaf vehicles and the charging stations to power them, any other electric car, will be deployed in Tennessee, California, Arizona, Oregon and Washington. The charging station infrastructure is key to growing the electric vehicle market.
The EV Project's website asks interested individuals or businesses to sign-up to participate in the project.
