The Nike Football Shine Through soccer shoes are designed to help soccer players shine through in the new year. The collection features white versions of four Nike Football footwear staples.
As Max Blau, VP of Nike Football Footwear explains, white is the result of overlapping primary colors. In this way, it's analogous to how players' epic movements on the field are the result of the overlap of their skill, dedication and athleticism.
While the boots themselves are white, the iconic Nike swoosh features various colors inspired by New Year's Eve fireworks in Brazil. Brazilians traditionally wear white during New Year's festivities, with bright accented color splashes.
Nike-sponsored athletes will begin wearing the new boots in early December.
