The Nike SB Shrimp is perhaps the first shoe ever to be inspired by seafood. The latest release from Nike's skateboarding line is a Quickstrike Low with a small shellfish placed prominently on the heel.
The purpose and meaning of the shrimp is unknown, but what is known is that this shoe looks good regardless. The Nike SB Shrimp's all-black upper meshes well with the combination white and gray outsole. The red swoosh is a great addition, as it matches the general reddish/pinkish hue of the shrimp on the heel. Putting a shrimp on a shoe and attempting to make it look anything but silly is a big risk. Nike somehow managed to pull it off though, and now you've got to wonder if their SB line will see anymore seafood-inspired releases.
