A graphic designer who's based out of the UK, Chris Labrooy has a talent for taking conventional objects and shifting them into something more, which is exactly what he does with his latest Nike artwork series.
Each of the images uses the sportswear brand's 'Nike Air Presto Ultra Flyknits' for inspiration, with the artist exaggerating the modular construction of them with his transformations. A white and turquoise sneaker is graphically molded into a peace sign for one of the Nike artworks, while a neon orange sneaker is made into a heart.
For an image that depicts a royal blue Nike Air Presto Ultra Flyknit as a pair of lips, Chris Labrooy uses the white sole as the upper teeth and the mesh fabric to add more depth.
