The Nike 2011 Doernbecher Freestyle Collection Helps Kids in Need

Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland Oregon and Nike have joined forces together to bring the Nike 2011 Doernbecher Freestyle Collection. The partnership began in 2004, and since then, the two have worked together to try and help out kids in need. Each year Doernbecher's staff selects a handful of patients to pay a visit to the Nike campus to personally meet a design mentor who will help them create their own sneakers.

The Nike 2011 Doernbecher Freestyle Collection includes a wide variety of sneaker models from the brand. This year, they've added "an additional installment of six Nike and Jordan silhouettes from the privileged patient-designers," according to Hypebeast. Styles include Air Max 95, Air Jordan IV, Nike Shox NZ and more. All proceeds from the sales will go to the hospital and will be available on November 5th online.
