Social Partying Apps

NightTag Lets You Publicize Your Nightlife Experiences

Now you can give your Facebook friends a complete run-down of your night via the NightTag app, an app that tells your online friends where you were, who you were with and what music was played.

Created by Amsterdam Worldwide and commissioned by Pernod Ricard to promote its Olmeca Tequila brand, the NightTag app is made for users 17 and older and works by using music recognition software. When you take a photo, it recognizes the song being played (as well as its location) so that the song can be posted onto your Facebook Timeline along with the photo you took. This ultimately creates "one, unified photo post," describes Brand Channel.

The NightTag app also ensures you'll have a great night of dancing and drinking by offering listings to clubs, as well as event listings by date and venue. You can also use the app to stream live radio music.

Brian Elliott, CEO of Amsterdam Worldwide says, "NightTag is anything but another branded app. This is a place for stories to be told. A late night social lubricant that is useful, entertaining, relevant and supports Olmeca Tequila’s brand in a longer lasting way than any ad impression."
