AutoX has entered into a partnership with the Swedish company NEVs in order to create next-generation electric vehicles. AutoX will integrate its autonomous technology into the design of the vehicles, which are inspired by the 'InMotion' concept car.
The next-generation vehicles will begin a testing phase in the third quarter of the 2019 financial year, with the car set for a European Launch by 2020.
The AutoX CEO has indicated that the vehicles being produced would be an ideal fit for an autonomous taxi program. This is due to the absence of emissions as well the fact that autonomous taxis can run around the clock. AutoX and NEVS have a shared goal to bring robotic taxi programs to a global presence.
