Terrafugia has unveiled the design of the next-generation flying car, the Transition Roadable Aircraft, at Airventure 2010. The new version features a touchscreen interface, improved wing design and a folding mechanism. The Transition Roadable Aircraft is also integrated with crash safety features such as airbags, a ballistic parachute system and an energy-absorbing crush structure in the nose.
The Transition Roadable Aircraft is expected to be available at the end of 2010 and the price of the aircraft could reach $190,000.
