The Sketchbook Project, a unique undertaking that collects people's used sketchbooks to lend out to others, is now heading on a new summer tour. With a caravan filled to the brim with sketchbooks, The Sketchbook Project team is travelling around the United States to share art with anyone who is interested.
4,500 sketchbooks will be making it onto the tour and will be available for anyone to peruse at stops that include Toronto, Portland, Atlanta and Orlando. Artists, both amateur and professional, can also submit their sketchbooks to the project.
The tour's tagline "It's like a road trip, but with sketchbooks" is extremely apt, but unlike many other road trips this one is full of artistic antics that The Sketchbook Project hints will include masks, capes and tights.
