Rimac Announced that it Began Producing its Nevera Supercar

'Rimac,' the Croatia-based automobile manufacturer, announced that its upcoming electric Nevera supercar has entered the consumer production stages. This announcement came following the first public showcase of the Nevera at the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed, where the production model number 000 was displayed.

The Croatian automaker stated that its production will take some time, as each model is hand-built by a specialized team of technicians. The production team can produce the vehicles at a maximum rate of 50 models per year, which may be slowed by extensive customization requests from consumers. Despite this, Rimac stated that its Nevera will be reaching consumers beginning in 2023.

The vehicle itself features a 1,914 horsepower engine that delivers 1,740 lb-ft of torque. Additionally, the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in well under two seconds, running its first quarter mile in roughly eight and a half seconds.
