Hire a Granny

NetGranny Knits You Custom Socks

I have just discovered Swiss-based Netgranny, the brainchild of the designers Tarzan, and I love it.

In brief, Netgranny allows you to choose your favourite sock pattern and then hire a granny to knit your heart's desire.

The website feature photos of all the grannies, along with the socks they can knit, and how many orders they are currently working on.

My favourite Gran? I would have gone for Agnes, and a surprise granny design. Unfortunately, the site informs she is already working on two pairs of socks at the moment. Therefore, my next favourite Granny is Brida, chosen soley for her awesome cat-related jumper we assume she knitted herself.
