Dedicated Netflix Button Coming to TV Remotes

Netflix is set to fully takeover the world of streaming video delivery by adding a Netflix button to Internet-ready device remotes from a variety of companies. Blu-ray players, Internet-ready televisions and routing devices like Roku and Wii could be controlled by the Netflix button and provide more convenience for end users.

The first Netflix button enabled devices are set for release in spring 2011. In combination with recent "download-only" subscriptions, the easy-to-use buttons are sure to make Netflix streaming video even more popular. That leaves me wondering if the end of mail-delivered DVDs is not far behind.
