Assistive Paralysis Gloves

The NeoMano Glove is Giving the Use of Hands Back to the Paralyzed

Spinal injuries can be incredibly debilitating, but thanks to Neofact and its NeoMano glove, those living with spinal injuries can once again control their hands. The NeoMano is the latest innovation from the South Korean Neofact -- known for its rehabilitation tools -- and is a glove that that allows the user to regain control over their thumb, index and middle finger. The glove uses a controller with two settings, grip and release, which essentially curl the fingers and returns them to a resting position. The glove is made of leather and uses titanium wires to move the fingers.

Neofact has already made its mark on the rehabilitation industry with its Rapael Smart Board, but this new innovation marks groundbreaking work as the technology can easily help those with physical injuries caused by some sort of trauma. While the glove does not cover the whole hand, Neofact has assured that the three fingers it does operate are the most useful. Neofact has already sent the NeoMano glove in for FDA approval and plans to bring the device to market at the end of 2018.
