Staying true to the photographer's signature style, Nea by Vivienne Mok is soft, romantic and slightly surreal. As though inspired by myths and legends, Nea is at one instance a forest nymph and at another, a listless princess held in captivity. Unlike the photographer's past work, this shoot includes darker shots thrown into the mix that give it a dual personality.
Nea by Vivienne Mok was shot for the third issue of Dew Magazine. Set in an oriental backdrop, the photo shoot intensifies the exotic nature of each image. With fashion finds of tulle, chiffon, embroidered cotton, as well as the addition of floral crowns and a bevy of braids, there is no limit to the fairy tale exoticism that is evoked throughout these photographs.
