These whimsical napkin doodles from artist Sadi Tekin make up a visual journal of the her life in New York over the first few months of 2013. The super cute and whimsical illustrations show everything that was on the artist's mind; from John Lennon and Yoko lookalikes to musings on hip urbanite culture.
The artist says her project was born out of waiting: "[these are] my random illustrations on napkins while having my coffee or waiting for my meal."
I, for one am certainly glad Sadi's meals took long enough for her to doodle these awesome creations and words of encouragement. Do you ever doodle when waiting for your food or coffee? Perhaps these doodled depictions could inspire you to create your own visual diary.
