Second-Hand Denim Branding

The Name of These Girls Packaging Dresses the Product Like a Person

The idea for The Name of These Girls packaging came from treating the CD as if it were one of the members of the band. As such, the logical way to dress the disc up was with clothing. Gabriel Palmer of Digital Point helped to launch a campaign that asked fans of the band to donate their old jeans that would make up the new album covers.

Repurposed denim pants were collected and cut into square pockets, then stitched together with bright red thread and accessorized with tags and a silkscreen print of the band's name. Every piece of The Name of These Girls packaging was made with care. The blue jean sleeves exhibit a beautiful uniqueness that makes choosing from them as personal as shopping for your own clothes.
