Lush has long been an advocate for packaging-free beauty products, but now the brand is applying the same ethos to its cosmetics with the debut of Naked Lipsticks.
Lush's new Naked Lipsticks is a collection of 40 different "vegan lipsticks that hydrate and accentuate." However, it's not the wide range of shades that is making waves in the beauty world, but the packaging. Unlike regular lippies, Lush's Naked Lipsticks are dipped in a wax coating which easily peels off. Once the wax is off, the lipsticks can be slotted into any old lipstick container. When you finish using your favorite shade, you simply buy another Naked Lipstick refill instead of purchasing a whole new lipstick container.
With an estimated one billion lipstick containers ending up in landfills each year, Lush's eco-friendly lippies are a game-changer.
