Iconic Fairytale High Heels

The Nakamura Glass Studio Slippers Make Cinderella Dreams a Reality

Japan's Nakamura Glass Studio has finally perfected the glass slipper. After eight years of intense work, the glass artisans have unveiled their fairytale creation to the world.

Available in sizes 6 to 8.5, these glass shoes are completely wearable. Instead of using molding or cutting tools, the Nakamura Glass Studio created these shoes using a high-quality glass blowing technique. Contrary to most shoe retailers, the company will only be selling one shoe at a time opposed to one pair all at once. Each shoe will retail at 86,400 yen which is $697 USD.

As glamorous as these shoes are, they are still made entirely of glass so it is advised that the wearers do take this into consideration.
